Starting a New Business? … You Are NOT Alone!

Many of our clients come to us at the very start of their business journey, often after they have been working in a corporate or large company environment for many years.

A lot of people these days have a desire to remove themselves from the “rat race” of corporate life, and all that entails (no pun intended!), the commuting, the long hours, the politics, the list goes on.

Heaven or Hell?

They see working for themselves as a kind of Utopia where they can be their own boss, work the hours they want to and be beholden to know one but their clients. In many ways, they are right.

But branching out on your own has it’s drawbacks of course, none more so than how to market and promote your new business. It’s one thing being good at your specific niche service or product, but another having to be the technician, the salesperson, accounts manager and marketing department all rolled in to one!

A lot of us that have been working in large companies for years are used to just calling up the IT department or the accounts department to sort a particular issue, now we have to do it ourselves or pay someone to do it!

A Level Playing Field

Thankfully, with today’s technology, the small business owner and operator is able to do some serious marketing and promotion via their own website and social media, really levelling the playing field with the big companies and organisations.

So, the first port of call for most new start-up businesses is the website. Without one we have no internet presence and no vehicle to really push out our brand and what we do.

Here at We Get Digital we get a fair number of new clients coming in through the door who are totally petrified about having a business website designed and built. We fully understand what a daunting experience this can be, we have been there many times ourselves!

Fortunately, one of our key USP’s as a company is our understanding of this issue and our ability to hold client’s hands through the whole process and explain every step in plain English. Check out our testimonials on our own website… we take care of you!

Internet Marketing Spectrum

We help our clients, most of whom are one or two man bands, with the whole internet marketing spectrum. It starts with designing and building a lovely and commercially effective website, through to setting up their social media channels (which all link to the website of course) and supporting them with their marketing and promotional campaigns on line.

It’s a minefield we agree, but with the right website partners with you, you can really give your new business the chance to succeed you deserve!
